Starting the young horse

$50.00 per hour by Pat Stauffer. 

Once the horse is settled at doing walk trot and canter with Pat,  the horse will be passed on to Patty for a fee of $40.00 each ride.

Bio on Patty Russell

Patty owns and runs Canter Lane Dressage Stables.  She competed as an Eventer for many years before turning to dressage.  She also breeds and trains her own horses that are warmbloods.  She has now turned her attention to Welsh ponies and German Riding Ponies and wants to settle for the 14 - 14.2hh size instead of 16hh++.

Patty's dressage success has come mainly from her good friend and mentor, Kari McClain of Miari Stables in Tumwater WA.  Kari has helped Patty succeed in getting her USDF bronze, silver and gold medals.  Patty won her Gold Medal on a Hungarian gelding named Balaton in 2001.

Patty has several clients who have competed their horses under Patty's tutelage and have done very well at recognized and schooling shows.  Many are gaining Hi-Score points and top USDF awards at the Championship Shows. She is also riding several Welsh ponies and due to Patty's petite size she is more than at home on them.
