Patty has bought,
trained, bred and sold many different breeds of horses over
the years.

As time moved on, Patty's interest in Eventing changed to
riding and training her horses in pure dressage.

Especially noteworthy
was a Hungarian gelding named Balaton. He took Patty up
through the levels enabling her to gain her highly prized USDF Gold
medal in 2001.

Canter Lane Dressage has proudly
bred some fine athletic horses. Mixing the TB blood from the
mare with the much sought after Hungarian and Swedish stallions.

WELSH PONIES
Due to Patty's petite size, she is now stepping into the realm of
breeding and training Ponies. Two of her charges are Welsh
section B's of 13.2hh owned by one of her clients, Carolyn Guinotte
who owns both
Smoke Tree Gold Fever and
Smoke Tree Gold Digger.
In 2008 a Welsh cob stallion, Flying Feathers Frampton (a 15.2hh son
of North Fork's Brenin Cardi), was added to the farm's breeding program.
The first Sport Pony foal to arrive on Canter Lane Farm will be out of a leased Arabian mare
that was bred to Smoke
Tree Gold Fever, a Welsh section B 3rd level stallion. The foal is due in July.
NEWS
In April 2009 a Welsh section B filly was bought
onto the farm. She is from the famous Smoke Tree Welsh Pony
Farm in Arkansas.
